Commercial retrofit for a long standing customer of ours who doesn’t typically use us on commercial but needed our help this time! There are two buildings on this property with a total of 7 of these “Sime” boilers which were 8 years old. All but 2 of them had cracked/leaking heat exchangers! They needed us to work within their budget which was easy to do. Decided to keep the manifold and just make it work. Turned out pretty nice considering what we had to work with! This building got 3 new 399,000 BTU Navien Fire Tubes. Check it out! The other building required 4 - 399’s and did not have the room on the wall. Two new 200,000 BTU Navien Fire Tube Boilers providing heating only to this multi family building. This customer is hopeful to have permits to tear this building down next year and promised us that they are staying at half capacity for occupancy as a result BUT our team has the experience to know that hopes and reality are two different things. This building needs atleast 1 more 200,000 btu fire tube if not 2 and the customer is aware. This is why the supply and return is in 3”, the gas is in 2” and we left piping to connect to on the right hand side of the boilers. Emergency domestic hot water boiler replacement! In this case we were scheduled to start a boiler install for this customer at another one of their buildings when we got the “no hot water” call for this building. Unfortunately the old boiler’s heat exchanger had completely failed. Kody and his team acted fast with some help from @prowestsales and managed to get the hot water back on after day 1 of this installation. 3 cascading Navien NPE’s later and this building is good to go again! Another rebate eligible heat pump installation! This one we simply added the 3 ton Eco-Air and matching cased coil to the existing furnace which is eligible for a $5,000.00 federal rebate. We also upgraded their hot water tank to a @navieninc tankless water heater which is eligible for a fortis rebate as well! The guys went above and beyond here. They removed the furnace, repositioned it, and hung it properly (not on bricks and actually level). The old condensate used to just leak onto the floor and now it’s being taken care of properly with an @axiom_hydronics neutralizing pump! The last photo is the furnace before we got our hands on it. We had the pleasure of helping out The Honeybee Centre last week! They have an electric boiler which is used for a few different things. Keeping honey warm and liquid, keeping wax warm, and melting wax! They had been spending a lot of money trying to keep the old finicky design working and they’d finally had enough. Kody met with the owner, re designed the piping and the low voltage controls while keeping cost down by re-using the electric boiler since it wasn’t in bad shape. Kody’s team then went to work and it turned out great! Customer is excited to have a reliable system again and we’re happy we could help! Check it out! This was a strange one! Developer of this old high rise kept the top 3 penthouses and has had them rented out ever since. Each penthouse heating system ran off its own Super Hot boiler completely separate from the strata’s heating system. The owner said job was ours as long as heating was only shut down for one day! There for we had to install them slightly higher than usual after seeking approval from the inspector. Anyways, if you look at the last photo of this post you’ll see that the team didn’t have much to work with but they still did an absolutely amazing job. Check it out! Kody and his team nailed this one! Took the old, mid efficient super hot boiler/gas hot water tank and replaced it with a @navieninc NCB-240/110H Combination Boiler. This single high efficient unit will take over the jobs of both of the old gas fired appliances in this townhouse providing heating as well as endless hot water to the owners!
